Here are some of the well-known Chevron Credit Cards available in the market right now:

Personal Credit Cards
One of the most popular personal Chevron Credit Cards is the Chevron and/or Texaco Techron Advantage™ Visa Card. There are three options in this — Chevron Visa Blue Card, Chevron and Texaco Gold Card, and Texaco Visa Red Card. This is a gas credit card with which you can earn rewards for fuel purchases at Texaco and Chevron gas stations. Every time, you fill up gas at a Texaco gas station or a Chevron gas station, you get 3 cents in fuel credits for each gallon.

The card also lets you earn fuel credits when you make other purchases such as travel, dining, and entertainment. You can earn as much as 20 cents in fuel credits per gallon when you make purchases of at least $1,000. Even if you spent around $300, you will get 10 cents as fuel credits for every gallon. All this at $0 annual fees makes for great benefits.

Also, you can earn 2 cents per gallon in fuel credits in the first 90 days of opening the account. This is applicable only at Chevron and Texaco gas stations. Although the rewards are quite competitive, this Chevron Advantage™ Credit Card has a higher APR than most at 29.24%. This APR is variable based on your credit rating. Additionally, the card charges 3% in case of foreign transactions. If you are taking advanced cash, you will be charged $10 or 5% of the amount of every cash advance. No balance transfers are allowed. Aside from this, you only get fuel credit rewards. The card does not offer cash back, airline miles, credit point redemptions, and other rewards.

To be eligible for the Chevron Advantage™ Credit Card, you need to have a credit score of 637. However, this is not mandatory. The issuer of the card, Synchrony Bank, takes into account other factors as well during the approval process. These include debt to income ratio, a clean credit record, and no recent negative markings on credit report.

Business Credit Cards
When it comes to credit cards for business, Chevron has an extensive program that offers a fleet of fuel management systems so that you can easily control, monitor, and analyze fuel expenses for your organization. Moreover, you also get fuel rebates. There are two Chevron and Texaco Business Credit Cards — Business Card and Business Access Card.

  • Chevron Business Card : This card is perfect for businesses that want to keep things local and would prefer to use Chevron or Texaco stations only. It is accepted at about 8,000 Texaco and Chevron stations across the country. With this card, you can set purchase limits to curb employee spending. With “set it and forget it” card controls, you can set limits based on product type, time of day, dollar amount, and other factors. The employee will have to provide their driver ID numbers and odometer readings to use this card. This adds an additional layer of security. Thus, the card is protected against loss, theft, or vehicle misuse. It comes with an account that has advanced data capture and reporting. This puts all the details of every purchase right at your fingertips.

There is no need to collect fuel receipts. Since the card offers paperless and automatic accounting that seamlessly integrates into existing systems, there is no need to waste time in adding up each fuel expense. With Chevron’s mobile app, you can do real-time monitoring of employee spending. Moreover, you can automatically generate reports to track spending on a day-to-day as well as month-by-month or year-by-year basis. This enables you to save more.

  • Business Access Card : For businesses that require a lot of traveling and want some flexibility in their credit cards, the Chevron Credit Card gives volume-based fuel rebates. You can earn a maximum of 6 cents per gallon starting at 500 gallons when you fill up your tank at Texaco and Chevron. This feature is applicable only when you use the card at Texaco and Chevron stations. But you can still use this card at other major fuel stations as well. Moreover, this card works in the same way as the business card. You can control unwanted spending with “set it and forget it” card controls. The purchase limits can be based on time of the day, product type (for example, fuel only option), and dollar amount. Also, the card has an extra layer of security with mandatory input of odometer readings and driver ID numbers during payment. Additionally, automatic reports are generated to keep track of spending on a daily, monthly, or yearly basis. Apart from this, you can go paperless with advanced data capture and reporting without the need to collect any fuel receipts.

Gas Station Gift Cards
Chevron Gift Cards are useful to purchase snacks, services, and gas at nearly 10,000 Texaco and Chevron gas stations across the country. The gift cards can also be used at Caltex stations across the Asia-Pacific region. These are similar to Chevron Credit Cards as they are prepaid cards. There are three types of Chevron and Texaco Gift Cards — Chevron Gift Card, Texaco Gift Card, and Chevron and Texaco Gift Card. They are available in multiple denominations starting from $5 to $100. The $5 cards are available in packs of 10. There are no hidden fees involved and there are no expiration dates either.

These cards can be great as personal as well as business gifts. These can be also used as promotional prizes or incentives and companies can co-brand these gift cards if they want. Chevron offers a lot of custom options for business gift card orders. These include imprinting the company logo or tagline on the card and having customized branded gift card sleeves. These customized cards can be used by businesses to reward their loyal customers, bring in new customers, and award company members. These cards also make great additions to graduation and college care packages.
